The Uganda Federation of Movie Industry (UFMI) is Uganda’s national body representing filmmakers, producers, actors, writers, and entertainment creatives. We advocate for industry standards, creative freedom, and the legal rights of our members serving as the strategic link between local talent and global opportunity.

UFMI manages an archive of over 5,000 film titles and is mandated with the protection of authors’ rights, including the collection and distribution of royalties to rightful creators. Through policy advocacy, fair compensation, and professional development, we exist to build a sustainable, globally competitive Ugandan film industry.
