The Uganda Federation of Movie Industry (UFMI) is Uganda’s national bodyrepresenting filmmakers, producers, actors, writers, and entertainment creatives.We advocate for industry standards, creative freedom, and the legal rights of ourmembers serving as the strategic link between local talent and global opportunity.UFMI manages an archive of over 5,000 film titles and is mandated with theprotection of authors’ rights, including the collection and distribution of royalties torightful creators. Through policy advocacy, fair compensation, and professionaldevelopment, we exist to build a sustainable, globally competitive Ugandan film industry.
